Penthouse Wellness Drinks

According to Packaging Digest here, Penthouse is launching Wellness drinks via brand license.

The two drinks launched this month are Per4mance Shots by Penthouse for men and Pleasure Shots by Penthouse for women.

General Media Communications Inc., the publisher of Penthouse Magazine, granted a brand license to Prestige Imports.

The Penthouse shots are scheduled to be available in retail stores nationwide beginning this month and online.

Timberland Kidswear Markenlizenz USA

Timberland hat bereits zweimalMarkenlizenzen für Kidswear vergeben. In den USA startet nun der 3. Anlauf. Laut Licensemag hat Timberland eine Markenlizenz an die Parigi Group vergeben.

Die Lizenz startet mit der diesjährigen Herbstkollektion und läuft bis 2014.

Distribution soll klassisch über Kaufhäuser und den Fachhandel erfolgen.

In Europa, Asien und Kanada liegt die Lizenz für Kinderbekleidung bei Children Worldwide Fashion.

Parigi hat bereits Lizenzen von DKNY und Puma.

Auch Mandarina Duck nach Asien verkauft

Nach der Insolvenz der Mariella Burani Fashion Group stand Mandarina Duck zum Verkauf.

Wie viele Marken in jüngerer Geschichte erwarb auch diese ein Asiatisches Unternehmen. Käufer ist die Koreanische E-Land. Der Kaufpreis beträgt € 25 Millionen.

In 2008 hatte Mariella Burani selbt € 36,9 Millionen für den Erwerb von Mandarina Duck gezahlt.

Timberland Kidswear Brand License

The Licensemag reports, that Timberland has signed another brand license for kidswear, this time with Parigi Group for the U.S. and its territories.

The license starts this year with the fall line. The agreement runs through 2014.

The collection will be distributed at major department stores and specialty stores throughout the U.S. and its territories.

Timberland will continue to design, source and market its kids apparel for European, Asian and Canadian operations through Children Worldwide Fashion.

Parigi also holds licenses from DKNY and Puma.

Another brand acquired by Asians

As reported by WWD, the Korean fund E-Land bought Mandarina Duck for about 25 million Euro, or $35 million.

In 2008, Mandarina Duck was incorporated under the Antichi Pellettieri umbrella, the leather goods unit that belonged to Mariella Burani Fashion Group. In 2008 Mariella Burani had paid 36.9 Million Euro for Mandarina Duck.

When Mariella Burani went bust, Mandarina Duck was one of the assets put on the block.
