Reckitt Benkiser – Advent International

Reckitt Benckiser sells 70% of its Essential Home (homecare) business.

The buyer is Advent International, the purchase price is US$4.8B.

Essential Home includes the brands Air Wick, Calgon, Woolite, and Cillit Bang.  2024 homecare generated 14% of revenue at Reckitt Benkiser.

Levi’s sold Dockers

Earlier this year, Levi Strauss sold its Dockers brand. Dockers spearhead products are Chinos.

The buyer was Authentic Brands Group, the purchase price US$311M.

Dockers generated 5% of net revenues at Levis Strauss.

L’Oreal & Kering

Kering is reversing its in-house strategy, and returns to the licensing model.

As reported, it is selling its fragrance and beauty subsidiary Creed along with exclusive, up to 50 years, licenses of its brands to L’Oreal.

Kering acquired Creed in 2023 for $3.8B. L’Oreal will pay $4.6B now.
