Procter and Gamble verkauft seine Marke Rochas an Interparfums SA, die Französische Tochtergesellschaft von Inter Parfums, Inc.
Rochas begann als Modeunternehmen und expandierte in den 1950ern zu Parfum. Im Geschäftsjahr 2013/2014 erzielte Rochas Netto-Umsätze in Höhe von US$46 Millionen. darin enthalten sind US$2 Millionen Lizenzeinnahmen aus den diversen Markenlizenzen für Mode und Accessoires.
Der Verkauf umfasst alle Marken, der Verkaufspreis beträgt US$108 Millionen.

Procter and Gamble has sold its Rochas brand to Interparfums SA, a subsidiary of Inter Parfums, Inc.
Rochas started as a fashion house and expanded into perfumery in the 1950s. In 2013/2014 Rochas had net sales of US$46 million. This includes US$2 million of royalties generated by the fashion and accessory business via license agreements.
This sale covers all brand names and trademarks, the selling price is US$108 million.
Shell licenses business parts in Denmark
Royal Dutch Shell sold and licensed various parts of its businesses in Denmark.
The buyer and licensee is Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc, the acquired businesses will be managed by a subsidiary, Statoil Fuel and Retail A/S.
The sale includes a brand licensing agreement, for the Shell brand for the retail network and in the fuels wholesaling sector.
Westinghouse licenses batteries
Westinghouse Electric Corp announced a brand licensing agreement for batteries.
The licensee is Camelion Battery Co. of Shenzhen, China.
The license covers general purpose, dynamo alkaline and super-heavy duty versions, rechargeable batteries, specialty batteries (such photo lithium, button cell and hearing aid batteries), battery chargers, mobile batters and solar and sealed lead acid batteries.
