Adidas has announced Manhattan Beachwear, Inc. as its US licensee for swimwear.

The first adidas swimwear products under this licensing agreement will be available at retail starting January 2013.
adidas Pool will cater to the high performance swimmer and team-sports dealers, while adidas Beach will cater to the fashion swimwear market.

adidas already holds contracts with other licensees for sports such as wrestling, boxing, table tennis, martial arts and taekwondo.

In addition adidas has licensed eyewear, bodycare, watches and fragrances.

Lee Cooper has signed a license for footwear.

The Korean SFS International is the licensee. The license covers all of Europe except for France, plus Turkey, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.

Die Josef Seibel Gruppe vertreibt die Marken Josef Seibel und Romika. Zudem ist sie an der Leiser/Schuhhof Gruppe beteiligt.

Die Markenrechte an der Marke Ikea wechseln firmenintern den Besitzer. Das schwedische Möbelhaus verkauft seinen Namen für neun Milliarden Euro an eine Tochterfirma.

Dem Kaufpreis liegt die firmeneigene Einschätzung sowie eine externe Markenbewertung zugrunde.

Die Stiftung Interogo in Liechtenstein verkaufte den Markennamen bereits am 1. Januar an Inter Ikea Systems.

Der Name Ikea hat damit erstmals einen Buchwert.

The trademark IKEA was sold in an inter-company transaction. The furniture retailer from Sweden sold its trademark rights to a subsidiary.

The purchase price is nine billion Euro.
The price is based upon internal calculations and an external brand evaluation.
 
Now the brand Ikea has an official book value.
