Besides its top brands – Persil, Schwarzkopf, Loctite – Henkel owns dozens of extraordinary brands of household products, personal care, and industry.
The brands for sale represent about €500 Mill in annual revenues.

CVC Capital, formerly Citigroup Venture Capital is named as a potential buyer. CVC invested already in Breitling and Samsonite, Formula 1 and Douglas.
Supposedly, L Catterton is interested too now. It is a cooperation of LVMH, the family holding Arnault, and Catterton, which invested among others in Pepe Jeans and Peleton.
Birkenstock aims for a valuation of 4-4.5B Euros, approximately six times annual sales.
