Die Marbert Firmengruppe musste Insolvenz anmelden.

Marbert Holding AG hält Lizenzen von Marken wie Onofri, Masayume and Subderma. Die Beauty Brands Holding & Lizenz GmbH (BBI) ist ein Lizenz- und Distributionsunternehmen, das im Jahr 2008 gemeinsam von Udo Heuser und einem Partner gegründet wurde. Das Duft- und Kosmetikunternehmen besitzt die internationalen Entwicklungs- und Vertriebslizenzen für die Marken Marbert, Bogner, Marc O’Polo, GGL und Strenesse, die weltweit über Distributionspartner vertrieben werden.
In Deutschland, Österreich und Holland vertreibt BBI neben den eigenen Lizenzmarken weitere Distributionsmarken wie Alessandro, Revlon, Piz Buin, Transvital und Les Fleurs de Bach.

Marbert war einmal ein Innovator im Deutschen Kosmetikmarkt und eine der stärksten Marken in dem Segment.

According to Ad Hoc news, 70 year old German beauty company Marbert went into Chapter 11.

Marbert was one of inventors in the German beauty market and not too long ago one of its strongest brands.

Marbert held licenses from brands such as Onofri, Masayume and Subderma, with subsidiaries holding brand licenses from Bogner, Marc O’Polo, GGL and Strenesse. It also distributes Alessandro, Revlon, Piz Buin, Transvital und Les Fleurs de Bach.

Eastern Tools and Equipment unveiled its line of Duracell generators to the home improvement market during the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas.

The licensed products were launched softly in November 2010 at the APEX automotive-after-market show in Las Vegas.

Price points run from about $299 for a 28-lb. inverter generator to $999 for a heavy-duty portable unit.

The Duracell generators operate at less than 5% total harmonic distortion – a measure of the cleanliness of the power – allowing for use with sensitive electronic equipment such as computers.

In den 90ern verkaufte die Firma noch bis zu 50.000 Geräte im Jahr, 2010 waren es dann nur noch 800.

Große Marken für Schreibmaschinen waren u. a. IBM, Remington, Adler, National, Olivetti, AEG, Olympia.

In ein paar Jahren wird der berühmte Slapstick von Jerry Lewis kaum noch jemandem etwas sagen.

Already in the 80s many big name manufacturers had given up on typewriters. Big brands at one time were IBM, Remington, Adler, National, Olivetti, AEG, Olympia.
