Der Französische Konzern PPR benennt sich um. Der neue Name ist Kehring. Damit gibt es ein neues Logo, neue Ausstattung, etc.

Unsere Haltung zu Namensänderungen haben wir hier mehrfach publiziert. Auf der anderen Seite hat sich PPR schon so oft umbenannt, dass es wahrscheinlich nicht mehr darauf ankommt. Und Werbeagenturen sollen ja auch leben.

PPR stand mal für Pinault-Printemps-Redoute. Der Familienname des Gründers und heutigen Großaktionärs, plus die beiden Stammgeschäfte, Kaufhäuser Printemps und Versandhandel La Redoute. Beide gehören nicht mehr zu PPR. Doch warum nicht Pinault?

Jetzt muss jeder Kehring lernen, was es bedeutet, wie es geschrieben und ausgesprochen wird. Zumindest die Mitarbeiter sind damit eine Weile beschäftigt. Und mit dem Buchstabieren der neuen E-Mail-Adresse.

PPR was short for Pinault-Printemps-Redoute. The family name plus its former two flagship businesses, department store chain Printemps and mail order La Redoute. Both are not part of PPR anymore. But what is wrong with Pinault?

Now everybody has to learn “Kehring”. And its meaning. And the spelling. Employees will be quite busy for months now.[:]
