Playboy has signed a jewelry license, again. The three lines are scheduled to hit retail in the USA and Canada in spring 2010.
The three collections of necklaces, pendants, earrings and rings are priced from $29.99 to $299.99, from $12.99 to $24.99 and from $12.99 to $14.99.
For years now the Playboy brand is struggeling with free online competition, reduced readership and shrinking ad revenues. Unless Playboy finds and implements a sustainable strategy quickly, we do not see a osy future for that iconic brand.
