Vivienne Westwood signed a license for wallpaper according to WWD.
The range, based on designs from past ready-to-wear collections, launched this month.
Prices range from $87 for a standard roll to $298 for a trompe l’oeil design that looks like a ruched tartan fabric.
The collection will be available through the distribution network of the licensee.
Considering, that the Ralph Lauren brand license for paint is among its the most profitable ones, the move is smart. Bad as it is a co-branding deal, we consider it bad policy.
